8-Carrier braid that set the standard for high performance braided line and still one of the best out there today.
- Lasts incredibly long which helps justify a steep price tag
- Superb castability with very little noise through rod guides
- Small diameter with phenomenal strength
Reasons to buy
- This is arguably the most abrasion resistant braid on the market making it fantastic for heavy cover whether it be for frogging, pitching or punching
- Very supple, great castability and makes very little noise through the guides
- Anglers who left feedback on this line say that it lasts incredibly long which means you don't have to respool often
- Holds knots well and has great strength
- Very easy to manage on your reel and anglers have said that if you do get a backlash with this stuff, it is easy to pull out
- Bassmaster angler of the year, Seth Feider uses it. Need we say more?
Reasons not to buy
- It's on the pricey side but I guess you pay for quality
- The color tends to bleed out fairly quickly. That may be an issue for some

Line is great. I am using 10lb yellow. Color faded within a week of use which sucks, but I guess it's fine. Holds knots decently well, though have had some randomly pop. This braid is so smooth I sometimes forget I'm using braid. It is also the quietest braid I've ever used. I cannot hear it going through the guides while casting, reeling in, and just barely hear it fighting fish.

Best pitching/flipping braid on the market hands down. You can pull fish out of anywhere with this stuff.
Bottom Line
Sufix 832 may have set the standard for high performance braided line but it has certainly not fallen off, it remains one of the best in the market and is trusted by world class anglers and amateurs alike. It demonstrates pretty much all of the features one would look for in a high quality line; strength, abrasion resistance, great knot holding and great castability thanks to a thin diameter.
If you are someone who wants their braid to hold its color, their may be some better option on the market but if that is not an issue, this is a great braid to pick up.
Oh, did we mention Seth Feider uses it?
